pytest course progress
pytest course:
2 chapters recorded this weekend.
So far, this is what my outline looks like:
introduction - recorded, edited, audio edited
pytest test functions - recorded
pytest fixtures - recorded
parametrization - recorded
markers - recorded
plugins - recorded
configuration - short-ish chapter, hopefully record tonight
wrap up - also short, hope to get that recorded this week
I still need to edit most of it, but I think it’s doable in the next couple of weeks. I’m holding off on audio editing to try to batch that. It’s not difficult, but a bit tedious.
I think we’re still on track to get this out in early Sept.
Test & Code:
Great interviews last week with Piper Thundstrom and Patrick Mineault.
I’m hoping to get Piper’s out this week, and Patrick’s next week.
PyBay:
I’m pretty exciting to get to speak live again. I’m not going to bring an books to sign and sell, but if you have a copy of Python Testing with pytest you’d like me to scribble on, feel free to flag me down at the event.
Cheers,
Brian Okken
